Longer cables?

Hello,

I got the Tilt5 working, just one problem. The cable it too short. I used a 10ft USB 3.0 extension and got a warning that the tilt 5 is not connected to a USB 3.0 port. Is there an accepted length or a specific recommend cable?

We've seen powered hubs with some good success powering longer cables. Short cables make dev work pretty difficult
