T5 board scaling

  • Ok so, I was looking at how to use t5 for full size table top games ~4x6 foot (Epic, battletech, avalon hill stuff, etc). Just putting down a large reflective cloth with the board on it as people on youtube have demoed leaves that giant unusable border from the tracking dots. So what I have done so far is use the cad info from Kasper via u_cap (thanks) and lasered out a scaled down version of the border/tracking dots (200mm square). It works! very exciting. https://freeimage.host/i/H1WQ6rP alt text I ordered some 55"x108" retro reflective cloth but it will not be here till next week to test at larger scale.

I have some questions for the hardware developer people (or anyone that likes to tinker).
Is there math that you can share on the required diameter of the tracking dots vs distance and angle to camera?
What is the minimum distance the inside border can be from the tracking dots?
Does the outside border need to be straight or could I trim it down and make a stencil to paint on the reflective fabric?
Does the T5 logo play any part in the tracking?
