Audio output?

  • I noticed the glasses register themselves as audio device, though I don't get any sound from the headset. Is this something still missing at the driver or SDK side, or is this a hardware issue?

  • @Jens-Restemeier Alright! The muted glasses bug is a known issue, we'll have a fix for that in later updates. SO GREAT you're all set with the new SDK update! Let us know of any other questions along the way 🙂

  • Just a quick update: I reinstalled the SDK on a new laptop. The glasses were muted at the start, but after unmuting and wiggling the volume slider a bit I got sound!

  • I updated the SDK to Rev14.1 from this morning.

I can select the different output devices in the volume control or the mixer panel, and I can select the Tilt Five headset as an output. I can move the volume slider to 100%. Interestingly the mute button doesn't change state visually as it does for other devices, so maybe something odd is going on there?

  • Just double checked with the team. There's a bug where the glasses audio device is muted after the initial setup... solution might be as simple as unmuting their audio from the System Tray

  • Hey Jens! The speakers on your glasses should be emitting audio, sometimes we've seen different machines wrestle for audio control for different reasons (Zoom, Discord, others etc) and having to manually set the system audio to Tilt Five. Which SDK version are you experiencing this issue with?
